Abstract
The purpose of this study is to design and validate a conceptual model of factors influencing competitive advantage in applied education centers. This research is applied in nature and adopts a descriptive–survey design with a quantitative approach. In the model development stage, the expert opinions of 15 specialists in higher education and management were utilized to identify an initial set of variables. Following consensus, 32 final variables were extracted and categorized into four main groups: process-related, service-related, customer-oriented, and support-related factors. To validate the proposed conceptual model, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was conducted using AMOS software. Data were collected through 188 completed questionnaires from managers, instructors, and experts working in applied higher education centers offering MBA and DBA programs. The analysis results indicated that the final model demonstrated an acceptable level of goodness-of-fit, and the identified variables play a significant role in enhancing competitive advantage. The proposed model can serve as a scientific framework to guide strategic decision-making in applied education centers.
