Abstract The present study aims to develop a qualitative model of the interactions and outcomes of artificial intelligence-based human resource management (AI-HRM). In terms of purpose, the research is exploratory, and in terms of implementation, it adopts a qualitative approach. The study population consisted of 18 university scholars, managers, and human resource management experts who were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews and analyzed through thematic analysis. The findings led to the identification of 183 codes, categorized into 28 basic themes and 27 organizing themes. The results indicated that AI-based human resource management comprises four principal dimensions: interactive algorithms in the interview screening process, including the interactive enhancement of interviews, intelligent matching of applicants with organizational competencies, and interactive analysis of résumé data; dynamic performance appraisal, including interactive evaluation of work quality, interactive prediction of long-term performance, and automated continuous feedback; employee interaction with the learning and development system, including interactive career path recommendation, adaptive learning content, and soft-skills simulation; and interactive human resource planning systems, including workforce estimation, turnover intention prediction, and improvement of HR processes. These four dimensions directly affect three major outcomes: operational productivity, with emphasis on automating administrative decrees and reducing leave-processing time; improvement in HR decision-making, with emphasis on the unbiased standardization of interviews and monitoring of behavioral data; and human resource value creation, with emphasis on shared value creation and alignment with strategic objectives.

Abstract The current research aims to validate the digital talent management model using artificial intelligence. The research methodology, considering its objective, is applicable; and in terms of execution, it is mixed (qualitative-quantitative). The statistical population of the research in the qualitative section includes 14 university professors in the field of public management and managers and experts of mining companies, selected by purposive sampling. The statistical population in the quantitative section includes active employees of mining companies, of which 215 individuals were considered based on Cochran’s formula, using a random sampling method. Data collection in the qualitative section was derived from semi-structured interviews based on theoretical foundations. The validity of the codes in the qualitative section was confirmed by two independent researchers, and its reliability was confirmed by the Cohen’s Kappa coefficient. In the quantitative section, a questionnaire was used. For data analysis, thematic analysis was used in the qualitative section, and SPSS and Lisrel software were used in the quantitative section. As a result of this process, the dimensions of the process functions (automatic screening and decision support tools), job matching (precise matching of jobs and skills, improvement of qualitative assessments), personality trait evaluation (analysis of psychological tests, identification of personality types), educational recommendations (personalized training, intelligent and dynamic training, triple synergy, and educational justice), and prediction of job turnover (job turnover analytical system and preventive diagnosis) were identified. The results of confirmatory factor analysis also indicate the validity of the final conceptual model of the research.
Introduction
Nowadays, with the advancement of technology, traditional talent management processes have become manual, time-consuming, and inefficient. Artificial intelligence (AI) has demonstrated its potential significantly across various sectors and has currently become a strategic tool for improving organizational efficiency (Abraham et al., 2025). With the rapid development of AI, big data, cloud computing, and other tools, traditional talent management methods can no longer meet the development needs of modern organizations. These tools may provide opportunities and challenges for reforming the human resource management system (Sithambaram et al., 2023). Traditional methods cannot objectively and reasonably collect in-depth data on organizational talent. These tools are incapable of accurately managing the analysis and processing of data resources such as the alignment status between talents and positions, and the matching status between talents and their superiors and subordinates. Talent selection, utilization, training and development, and retention, within digital talent pools using traditional methods, are not only unfavorable to the long-term development of organizations and talents but also, to some extent, reduce the enthusiasm of organizational talents (Saini & Tarkar, 2022). Conversely, many researchers have emphasized the transformative potential of AI in reshaping traditional approaches to talent acquisition, development, and retention, highlighting its benefits in improving recruitment processes, such as reducing bias in candidate selection and enhancing predictive analytics for identifying outstanding potential talents. Accordingly, AI simplifies administrative tasks, allowing HR professionals to focus on the strategic aspects of talent management. This is because talents are considered highly valuable resources for organizations to achieve long-term development (Weber et al., 2024). On the other hand, studies show that very few digital talent management models have been presented in this area. For example, the talent attraction and selection model proposed by Kathiravan et al. (2023) can be mentioned. This model optimizes the recruitment and selection process of employees using AI and machine learning algorithms. Talent management systems can automatically analyze resumes and identify the best candidates based on predefined criteria. This approach not only reduces recruitment time and costs but also increases selection accuracy. The AI-based talent development and training model proposed by Kaliannan et al. (2023) also aids in personalizing training and development processes. Given the aforementioned points, the main research question of the current study is: How is the digital talent management model based on artificial intelligence validated?
Theoretical Framework
Talent Management
Talent management is an integrated strategy or system designed to develop processes for recruiting, selecting, and developing individuals, and retaining those with the necessary skills, often examined with a long-term, comprehensive plan in mind (Almaaitah et al., 2020).
Artificial Intelligence
As a branch of computer science, artificial intelligence develops an intelligent machine product that, based on understanding the nature of intelligence, reacts in a manner similar to human intelligence. Research in this field primarily includes image recognition, speech recognition, language processing, expert systems, and robotics (Yanling Shi, 2020).
El Hajal et al. (2025) explored artificial intelligence and the future of talent management in tourism and hospitality. Using scenario planning, they outlined four alternative futures for AI-driven talent management, emphasizing the importance of ethics, continuous learning, and the complementary role of AI.
Kumar & Hariharasudhan (2025) investigated the role of artificial intelligence in recruitment and talent management. Through qualitative interviews, they found that AI can automate resume screening and interview scheduling stages, thereby reducing human biases.
Research Methodology
The research method, considering its objective, is applicable; and in terms of execution, it is a mixed-methods (qualitative-quantitative) approach. The statistical population of the research in the qualitative section includes 14 university professors in the field of public management and managers and experts in mining companies, selected using purposive sampling. The statistical population in the quantitative section includes active employees of mining companies, with 215 individuals determined based on Cochran’s formula, using random sampling. Data collection in the qualitative section was based on semi-structured interviews derived from theoretical foundations. The validity of the codes in the qualitative section was confirmed by two independent researchers, and its reliability was confirmed by Cohen’s Kappa coefficient. In the quantitative section, data was collected through questionnaires.
Research Findings
Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data in the qualitative section, while SPSS and Lisrel software were used for the quantitative section. As a result of this process, the identified dimensions include dimensions of process functions (automatic screening and decision support tool), job matching (precise job and skill matching, improvement of qualitative assessments), personality trait evaluation (analysis of psychological tests, identification of personality types), educational recommendations (personalized training, intelligent and dynamic training, triple synergy, and educational justice), and prediction of job turnover (job turnover analytical system and preventive detection). The results of the confirmatory factor analysis also indicate the validity of the final conceptual model of the research.
Conclusion
The present research aimed to validate the digital talent management model utilizing artificial intelligence. The results of this study align with findings from Kumar & Hariharasudhan (2025), Kambur & Akar (2022), and others such as Faqihi & Miah (2023), Yazdani & Ahmadi Qajari (2024), Heidary et al. (2023), and El Hajal et al. (2025). Faqihi & Miah (2023) demonstrated that AI-based talent management, employing machine learning and moderating technology theories, leads to better job matching and targeted training.
Based on the results obtained from this research, the following recommendations are proposed:
Other researchers are encouraged to investigate the relationship between the identified dimensions in the current study and other variables, such as attrition intention, digital emotional exhaustion, human capital management, and digital organizational commitment. To enhance the external reliability and generalizability of the proposed model, it is recommended that this model be applied in other private and public companies across various industries, with results presented comparatively. Given that the statistical sample of this study was purposively selected from employees of mining companies, caution and necessary considerations should be taken when generalizing the findings to other organizations, industries, or organizational cultures.

Abstract The aim of the present study is to study the knowledge staff narcissism management model with a content analysis approach. The research method is qualitative in terms of implementation method, and is of the content analysis type. The statistical population of this study includes 15 university professors and managers and experts in public administration. The sampling method in this study was purposive. This sampling continued until theoretical saturation was reached. The research collection tool is semi-structured interview. Data analysis was carried out using the content analysis method and MAXQDA software. The results of the study showed that the data were systematically coded and in the first stage, 254 initial codes were extracted and classified in the form of 62 basic themes and 20 basic organizing themes. Finally, five overarching themes were identified as the main dimensions of the research conceptual model, which are: moral guidance, managerial intervention, individual training, professionalism, and moral self-management. In general, managing narcissistic behavior in knowledge workers in organizations requires simultaneous attention to ethical guidance, management intervention, individual training, professionalism, and ethical self-management. These five dimensions provide a coherent framework for promoting ethical actions at the individual and organizational levels.
Introduction
Today, narcissism has become one of the most important topics in the field of organizational behavior (Ren et al., 2024). This behavior is observed more often among knowledge workers than in other occupational groups (Mohd et al., 2023). Narcissism, as a personality trait, refers to an individual's desire to receive praise and exaggeration about themselves (Sarfarazi et al., 2021).
Maccoby (2021) defines narcissism in employees as personality traits in which an individual tends to see themselves as superior to others and needs approval and admiration from others. Narcissists tend to seek attention and approval and may be insensitive to the needs of others in their social and professional interactions. This trait can manifest itself in both positive and negative ways in the workplace. While some aspects of narcissism, such as self-confidence and leadership ability, can be beneficial, its negative aspects include a lack of empathy and difficulty in teamworking. Accordingly, narcissists tend to have undesirable traits such as exploitativeness, lack of empathy, aggression towards critics, and disregard for expert advice. Interestingly, narcissistic knowledge workers may initially be positively evaluated and noted for both their popularity and leadership abilities. However, these positive perceptions of these individuals diminish over time as others gradually become aware of their undesirable traits. According to social influence theory, people who are more skilled in influence management tactics will be more successful in conveying a certain self-image to others. For example, an employee with high knowledge skills can convey an image of competence and likability to others through self-promotion. In contrast, an employee with low knowledge skills may present a neutral and passive self-image to his or her supervisors and colleagues (Chen et al., 2024).
Narcissism can become a very important indicator of positive and negative organizational behavior. Isfahan Petrochemical Company (Isfahan Petrorefining Holding) is a public company that was established with the aim of producing aromatic products including benzene, toluene, orthoxylene, paraxylene, and mixed xylene (Hosseini, 2023). One of the most important reasons for choosing the Isfahan petrochemical industry as the context for the study is that this company needs to maximize the potential of its workforce due to the complex and competitive nature of the industry. The number of knowledge workers in this company is 700 people with diverse organizational abilities. Knowledge workers in this industry usually face numerous technical and managerial challenges that require effective cooperation and interaction between team members. Since narcissism can prevent healthy and effective communication between individuals, effective management of narcissism of knowledge workers in the petrochemical industry should be considered as a vital element for maintaining competitiveness and success in the market. According to the contents, the main question of the present research is: What is the management model of employee narcissism in the petrochemical industry?
Theoretical framework
Employee narcissism
Narcissism is a phenomenon that has existed in human societies for a long time; narcissism is an innate and fundamental human personality trait that may be intensified in a way that dominates other personality traits depending on the type of genetic background of individuals, family upbringing, growth conditions, and social and environmental conditions (Tang et al., 2018).
Zheng et al. (2025) examined the relationship between grandiose narcissism and creativity: A study of Chinese high-tech companies. The results showed that participants with grandiose narcissism reported significantly higher levels of creativity and psychological well-being in creative performance than those with vulnerable narcissism.
Bali et al. (2024) examined the design of a narcissism model for sports managers with a qualitative approach. They showed that the narcissism model of sports managers includes positive dimensions (leadership and inspiration ability, high self-confidence, motivation and ambition, creativity and innovation), and negative dimensions (grandiose and excessive pride, self-centeredness and disregard for others, intolerance of criticism and criticism, dominance and control, lack of empathy and understanding of others, refusal to accept failure and mistakes).
Research Methodology
The research method is qualitative in terms of implementation, of the type of content analysis. The statistical population of this study includes 15 university professors, managers and experts in public administration. The sampling method in this study was purposive. This sampling continued until theoretical saturation was reached. The research collection tool is a semi-structured interview.
Research findings
Data analysis was carried out using the content analysis method and MAXQDA software. The research results showed that the data were systematically coded and in the first stage, 254 initial codes were extracted and classified in the form of 62 basic themes and 20 basic organizing themes. In general, managing narcissistic behavior in knowledge workers in organizations requires simultaneous attention to ethical guidance, management intervention, individual training, professionalism, and ethical self-management. These five dimensions provide a coherent framework for promoting ethical actions at the individual and organizational levels.
Conclusion
The present study was conducted with the aim of developing a model of managing narcissistic behavior in knowledge workers using a content analysis approach. The results of this study are consistent with the results of Zheng et al. (2025), Bali et al. (2024), Hassanzadeh & mehdinia (2022), Sayidi (2022), Al Behbahani (2022), Pashazadeh Kahaq et al. (2022), Shariatinejad et al. (2022), Fahim Talebi et al. (2021), and Klimchak et al. (2016). Zheng et al. (2025) showed that participants with high narcissism reported significantly levels of creativity and psychological well-being in creative performance compared to those with low narcissism.
According to the results of the study, the following suggestions were made:
Ethical guidance increases employee trust, reduces conflicts, and promotes empathy and cooperation in the workplace, and plays an important role in preventing narcissistic and harmful behaviors.
Management intervention includes providing feedback, continuous monitoring, and timely intervention in the event of behavioral deviations or decreased performance. It is suggested that unproductive and self-centered employee behaviors are identified and corrected and organizational processes are directed towards common goals.

Abstract The current research aims to investigate a model for enhancing knowledge management based on intellectual and specialized capital in the banking industry. The research methodology, considering its objective, is developmental-applicable; and in terms of execution, it is mixed (qualitative-quantitative). The statistical population for the qualitative phase includes 18 university professors, managers, and experts from Bank e-Mehr Iran, selected through purposive sampling. The statistical population for the quantitative phase consists of managers and experts from Bank e-Mehr Iran in Tehran. According to Morgan and Gracey’s table, the maximum sample size was considered to be 235 individuals, selected using simple random sampling. Data collection in the qualitative phase was conducted through semi-structured interviews; and in the quantitative phase, through questionnaires. Content analysis was applied for analyzing qualitative data, and SPSS and PLS software were utilized for quantitative data analysis. Qualitative analysis revealed that knowledge management in organizations encompasses six main dimensions: intelligent knowledge infrastructures, knowledge empowerment, internal organizational value creation, external organizational value creation, comprehensive knowledge support, and knowledge culture. Confirmatory factor analysis indicated that the proposed model possesses adequate construct validity and convergent validity for all dimensions, with the items exhibiting high and significant factor loadings. As a practical suggestion, it is recommended that organizations enhance flexible knowledge infrastructures and foster a culture of continuous learning. This will enable them to practically leverage employees’ experiences and knowledge, thereby sustainably developing the organization’s intellectual capital while improving employee knowledge management.
Introduction
In today’s world, where organizational competitive advantage is more than ever based on knowledge, creativity, and innovation; banks, as leading financial institutions, are inevitably compelled to recreate their structures in line with the knowledge age. In such a context, knowledge management is not merely a tool for storing and transferring information, but a strategic approach that can enhance the flow of knowledge creation, sharing, and utilization across all organizational levels, paving the way for accurate decision-making, service innovation, and improved customer experience (Pisoni et al., 2024).
Intellectual capital in banking encompasses a collection of employees’ professional knowledge, financial analysis skills, effective customer relationships, accumulated experiences in operational processes, as well as structural systems and IT that empower the organization in optimal financial service management (Quezada et al., 2025). Knowledge management is a process that an organization uses to collect, organize, share, and analyze its knowledge in a way easily accessible to employees. This knowledge can include technical resources, FAQs, training documents, and other information (Afshari et al., 2020).
A knowledge management system harnesses the collective intelligence of an organization, leading to better operational efficiency. These systems are supported by a knowledge base. They are typically crucial for successful knowledge management, providing a centralized location for storing information and ensuring easy access to it. Companies with a knowledge management strategy achieve business results faster because increased organizational learning and collaboration among team members facilitate quicker decision-making across the business (Asayesh & Mehdikhani, 2025). It also simplifies more organizational processes such as training and board presence, leading to reports of increased employee satisfaction and retention (Faizolahy et al., 2023). Knowledge management is not a new concept; human civilizations have historically preserved and transferred knowledge from one generation to another to understand the past and anticipate the future. In today’s complex and dynamic business environments, the thirst for up-to-date knowledge continues to expand in scope and depth (Mehdikhani & Valmohammadi, 2020). Therefore, this research seeks to answer the question: What is the model for enhancing knowledge management based on intellectual and specialized capital in the banking industry?
Theoretical Framework
Knowledge Management
Knowledge management is a process that refers to creating new knowledge and using it for the organization when needed. It also facilitates the learning process, increases the amount of knowledge required by members of the organization, and supports the rapid transfer of knowledge within the organization (Zamanifard et al., 2025).
Intellectual Capital
Intellectual capital is a collection of knowledge, information, intellectual property, experience, competence, and organizational learning that can be utilized to create wealth. In fact, intellectual capital encompasses all of an organization’s employees’ knowledge and its capabilities in generating added value, thereby leading to sustainable competitive advantages (Bananuka, 2020).
Wang et al. (2025) investigated the relationships between intellectual capital and strategic decision-making, as well as the moderating-mediating effect between these two variables in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Their findings indicate that the positive impact of intellectual capital on strategic decision-making through resource integration capability is contingent upon top management’s participative behavior, highlighting the role of resource integration capability and top management’s engagement in intellectual capital. The results also demonstrate that intellectual capital and resource integration capability strengthen positive decision-making relationships. Furthermore, top management’s participative behavior enhances the positive interactive effect of intellectual capital with resource integration capability. Intellectual capital can be utilized by SME management teams to formulate and implement relevant strategic decisions and increase decision-making effectiveness, which are critical stages for success in decision-making processes.
Shafaei et al. (2024) examined the impact of knowledge management on organizational performance, considering business process management as a mediating variable. The research findings revealed that, based on the significance levels of the hypotheses, all three hypotheses were supported. The impact coefficient of knowledge management on business process management was found to be 0.742, the impact of knowledge management on organizational performance was 0.422, and the impact of business process management on organizational performance was 0.652. Therefore, the primary recommendation of this research is to focus on the retention, sharing, and application of knowledge, which is effective in both managing business processes and enhancing the level of organizational performance.
Research Methodology
In terms of its objective, this research is categorized as applicable-developmental; and regarding its execution method, it employs a mixed-methods approach (qualitative-quantitative). The statistical population in the qualitative phase consists of 18 university professors, managers, and experts of Mehr Iran Credit Bank, who were selected by purposive sampling. The statistical population in the quantitative phase includes managers and experts of Mehr Iran Credit Bank in Tehran, with a maximum sample size of 235 individuals determined based on the Morgan and Krejcie table, utilizing simple random sampling. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews in the qualitative phase and via a questionnaire in the quantitative phase.
Research Findings
The analysis of data from the qualitative section utilized the thematic analysis method, while the quantitative section employed SPSS and PLS software. The qualitative analysis revealed that knowledge management within organizations comprises six main dimensions: intelligent knowledge infrastructure, knowledge empowerment, internal value creation, external value creation, comprehensive knowledge support, and knowledge culture. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) demonstrated that the proposed model possesses adequate construct validity and convergent validity for all dimensions, with the indicators exhibiting high and significant factor loadings. As a practical recommendation, it is advised that organizations enhance flexible knowledge infrastructures and foster a culture of continuous learning. This, in turn, will promote employee knowledge management, enabling the practical utilization of employee experiences and knowledge, thereby ensuring the sustainable development of the organization’s intellectual capital.
Conclusion
The present research was conducted with the aim of examining the enhancement model of knowledge management based on intellectual and specialized capital in the banking industry. These findings align with those of previous studies, including Attar & Bitaraf (2024), Shafaei et al. (2024), Limsangpetch et al. (2022), Areed et al. (2020), Farooq (2018), Migdadi (2021), Nejad Afshar et al. (2025), Bocoya-Maline et al. (2024), and Ardalan et al. (2022). Mohammadzadeh et al. (2023) indicated that the causal drivers of knowledge management include knowledge updating, facilitating infrastructure, and meritocracy; intervening conditions involve interactive and motivational leadership; contextual conditions include organizational culture and employee ranking; strategies encompass healthcare training and receptiveness to criticism; and outcomes include cost reduction, satisfaction, and increased employee productivity. Therefore, it can be concluded that knowledge management is related to numerous factors; and to enhance it, attention must be paid to all the indicators and factors identified in the present study.
Based on the research results, the following suggestion is proposed:
It is recommended that banks establish AI-based digital platforms for the analysis and processing of knowledge data. The utilization of AI systems can assist in identifying existing knowledge patterns and predicting future needs. These platforms can empower organizations to intelligently classify and categorize their data and information, thereby facilitating access to relevant and high-quality information.

Abstract The aim of this study is to validate the employee job enthusiasm model of the Petrochemical Terminals and Tanks Company. The present study is applicable in terms of its purpose and is a survey in terms of its nature and method. The statistical population of the present study includes employees of the Petrochemical Terminals and Tanks Company in the city of Asaluyeh, whose sample size was 205 people using the Cochran formula and simple sampling method. The collection tool in the present study is a researcher-made questionnaire. Confirmatory factor analysis using SPSS and LISREL software was used to analyze the findings. The findings showed that the "cognitive enthusiasm" dimension includes four subscales of professional development path, cognitive understanding, foresight, and resilience. The “emotional passion” dimension includes intrinsic motivation, positivity, effective financial incentives, and effective non-financial incentives; and the physical-psychological passion dimension includes managing job pressures, overcoming physical challenges in the workplace, and physical and mental balance; and the social passion dimension includes social approval, social interactions, and a supportive workplace; and the moral-value passion dimension includes approval of a sense of responsibility, moral impact, and the desire to do meaningful work.
Introduction
Today, due to economic issues and problems, employees face multiple work pressures and role conflicts in the organization, which often put a lot of work pressure on them. Therefore, the emphasis on promoting employee passion and enthusiasm is constantly increasing in workplaces (Ismaili, 2025). In recent years, researchers in the field of public administration have tested various job design methods such as job enrichment and job development methods, which clearly aim to identify the attitudinal and behavioral consequences of employees. This issue has gained particular importance in public administration discussions. The result of job design methods on human resources is the fact that often individual outcomes are considered, which is partly due to the nature of job designs. On one hand, in today's competitive market, most organizations face great challenges in retaining their valuable employees. Therefore, these employees face pressure and efforts from managers to stay in this job or profession (Tabaszewska & Sokołowska, 2019). On the other hand, job satisfaction is one of the key factors of job success that causes employees to show the best job performance. A high level of employee job satisfaction can lead to the growth of the company's economic situation, as employees will work hard for themselves and their company. Job satisfaction is a phenomenon that results from the level of happiness and satisfaction of employees with their work and its environment and leads to a high level of job engagement (Olsen, 2025).
Although employee engagement has many benefits, there is evidence that many employees in organizations do not have the necessary and sufficient engagement. Studies show that a high percentage of employees in workplaces suffer from burnout. For example, the results of a study conducted by Parker et al. (2023) showed that more than 60% of employees in some industries regularly experience symptoms of burnout. Studies show that many employees are not satisfied with their jobs. The results of a survey conducted by Gallup (2021) showed that only 15% of employees globally feel engaged, enthusiastic, and satisfied with their work. Employees who are less engaged are likely to be more likely to be absent from work. The results of a study conducted by Halbesleben (2010) showed that employees with low engagement are 37% more likely to be absent than employees with high engagement. According to the above, the main question of the present study is: how can the model of employee job engagement in a petrochemical terminal and storage company be validated?
Theoretical foundations
Job engagement
The concept of job engagement was proposed by Kahn (1990) and Li (2016). The term job engagement means the participation of employees in their work. The term job engagement may mean the connection of individuals with the body in which they work (Ali et al., 2021). The level of enthusiasm, attachment, and desired involvement with the job is job engagement. Job engagement means that employees are physically engaged, cognitively alert, and empathetically communicate with other people in the organization (Decuypere & Schaufeli, 2020).
Cheng (2024) examined the role of chain mediation of innovative self-efficacy and coordinated enthusiasm between reciprocal leadership and employee innovative behavior. Ambidextrous leadership is positively related to employee innovation behavior, while innovative self-efficacy and harmonious work engagement play a mediating role. Further analysis confirms that innovative self-efficacy and harmonious work engagement play a dual mediating role in the chain between ambidextrous leadership and employee innovation behavior, while Zhong-Yung thinking plays a moderating role between ambidextrous leadership and innovative self-efficacy and between ambidextrous leadership and harmonious work engagement.
Gerami & Malekshahi (2023) investigated the relationship between servant leadership style and employee performance and job engagement (case study: Mobarakeh Steel Company, Isfahan). They showed that job engagement plays a mediating role between job motivation and innovative behavior, as well as between servant leadership style and job performance.
Research Methodology
The present study is applicable in terms of purpose and is of survey type in terms of nature and method. The statistical population of the present study includes employees of Petrochemical Terminals and Tanks Company in Assaluyeh city, whose sample size was 205 people using the Cochran formula and simple sampling method. The collection tool in the present study is a researcher-made questionnaire.
Research findings
Confirmatory factor analysis was used to analyze the findings using SPSS and LISREL software. The findings showed that the "cognitive enthusiasm" dimension includes four subscales of professional development path, cognitive understanding, foresight, and resilience. The "emotional passion" dimension includes intrinsic motivation, positivity, effective financial incentives, and effective non-financial incentives; and the physical-psychological passion dimension includes managing job pressures, overcoming physical challenges in the workplace, and physical and mental balance; and the social passion dimension includes social approval, social interactions, and a supportive workplace; and the moral-value passion dimension includes approving a sense of responsibility, moral impact, and the desire to do meaningful work.
Conclusion
The present study was conducted with the aim of validating the job passion model of the employees of the Petrochemical Terminals and Tanks Company. The findings of the present study are consistent with the results of Shao (2023), Dehghanpour Farashah et al. (2021), Tang & Li (2021), Yaghoubi et al (2022), Gerami & Malekshahi (2024), Keshavarz & Sadeghi (2023) and Hosseinian et al. 2025).
Based on the results of the study, the following suggestions were made:
It is suggested that the organization provide employees with opportunities to participate in projects with a medium to high level of difficulty in line with their interests and skills.
It is suggested that the organization define a multi-stage reward system that provides financial rewards for achieving certain levels of individual or team goals. Employees who perform well or play a key role in a particular project should be allowed to work with flexible working hours on some days or do part of their work remotely. For example, a graphic designer could complete a project at home at night and only be physically present for the final presentation. This type of flexibility greatly increases non-monetary motivation. When new employees first arrive, or when implementing organizational changes, people may experience psychological stress.
